Dalmatia Through the Wine Glass
The region of Dalmatia is home to some of the most exceptional wines in all of Europe. Though fairly unknown to many, the quality and excellence of Croatian wines come to light through the tastes of wines such as Zlatan Plavac, Dingac, and Babić. You'll be fascinated by the smooth and elegant flavors of these wines as you make stops in various renowned wine cellars and beautiful vineyards. Every stop you make on this tour will expose you to the different tastes of its wines, as well as to its natural beauties.
You'll enter acclaimed wine cellars such as Bibich in the small town of Skradin and Miloš, Matuško, Grgich (of the Grgich Hills!) on the picturesque Pelješac peninsula. While in Pelješac you'll discover its dry wines, rich in texture and density, a direct result of the double dose of sunshine the vineyards receive from the sun reflecting off the sea. You'll pass through the charming villages of the Primošten hinterland as a coiling coastline takes you south to Dalmatia's pearl, Dubrovnik. Sipping delightful wines in the midst of stunning sceneries will take your senses to new heights on a tour overflowing with indulgences of all sorts.
