Secret Dalmatia’s response to our internet query was immediate and personal. Alan asked a few questions to ascertain our interests and within days emailed with an interesting itinerary for us to peruse. He suggested some “secret” places that we had not considered.

From Mostar enjoyed with Michael and on to Split with Florio who was happy to share his family’s war experiences, to Trogir, Sibenik, Zadar and final Zagreb we thoroughly enjoyed the tour planned by Secret Dalmatia. We learned and experienced the culture, history, geography and way of life of the Croatian people. I've been thinking about you often. I know I mentioned before that we have always been able to continue to enjoy a trip after we've returned home by reliving memories, pictures, etc. This year just didn't work like that, which is a shame, since Croatia was one of our favorite experiences ever.For this year, we are trying to figure out if we can make a 3-week trip happen to encompass highlights of Morocco, Spain & Portugal. I just told Dale this morning that my attempts to find an "Iberian Peninsula Alan" have not worked out. You are one of a kind.
